A New Journey begins

 2 January 2014 was an important day in the Kwek family and the start of many firsts for the new year. After four years with Kinderland, Kieran began his formal schooling at Punggol View Primary.

We were initially concerned that Kieran would act up and refuse to go to school. He had attended the school's pre-orientation day in December and kicked up a fuss when he had to be separated from us. However, our boy turned out to be a star, gamely waking up at six in the morning and riding the school bus on his own. He didn't cry when he had to go up to the school hall with the other pupils and was seen chatting happily with his newfound friends during recess.

We chose Punggol View Primary because Hubby believes in the vision and leadership of principal Kelvin Tay. Punggol View is a new neighborhood school, with just Primary One and Primary Two levels. 

We are also excited that Kieran will play a part in helping to shape and grow the school :)
