We woke up to a cold and dreary morning but since there was no rain, we decided to set off for Berkeley. For some strange reason (and maybe because David took a wrong turn), the GPS directed us towards San Francisco where we crossed the Bay bridge and ended up going to the historic Ferry Building where there is a large farmers' market every Saturday.
Since we were here, we hunted down the famous roast pork sandwiches, which were really succulent and yummy! We also drove along Misson Street to Dolores Mission, the oldest building in the city built in 1791 and to Castro Street -- the heart of the gay and lesbian scene in the city.
