A Nation Celebrates

By a stroke of luck, Hubby D managed to get two tickets to the preview of the National Day Parade. And so it was decided that Mummy would bring Kieran to the event. It was a blistering hot day but that did not dampen Kieran's spirits. First, a fuel stop before making our way to the Marina Bay floating bay. Mummy was keen to check out Patisserie G at Millenia Walk so we had tea there. Kieran decided that he wanted only the caramel mousse cake but ended up eating most of Mummy's chocolate tart! Verdict: cakes were great but coffee was a tad too acidic.

"Mummy, can you take my picture and put it on Facebook?"

Great seats right in front
Hot but not bothered. Kieran has his eyes glued on the show.

It was great to be right in front so we had a clear view of the parade and the fireworks. As I watched Kieran sing with gusto the lyrics to "Home", it dawned on me that there there would be no need for years of National Education for this kiddo. He already loves his country, his home.
