Out and about in Sep (Part II)

It was not the best of days. Hubby D threw a fit this morning when he discovered that Kieran had scratched the car dashboard. What made it worse and kept the Hubby raving mad was the fact that Kieran had dug his fingernails into the leather dashboard, resulting in two conspicuous holes. And as the skies threatened to darken, with the possibility that we might have to abort a day trip to Pulau Ubin, the mood was, without doubt, extremely gloomy.

However, the clouds cleared after a quick breakfast at Changi Village, and our group decided to continue on our way to Pulau Ubin. It was a nice break to get away from the city although everyone was pretty much flat out after a long hike to see the quarry. We didn't make it to Chek Jawa as it threatened to rain and as it was high tide as well. Oh well, maybe save it for another time.

Kieran looking sober after Daddy punished him.

Had lunch at the famous International Nasi Lemak stall that my in-laws swear is the best in the hawker centre. Also checked out new cafe cum bespoke bicycle shop Coast & Company along Siglap Drive. Hubby D thought it was more hype than good.
