On a blistering hot Saturday afternoon, we dropped by SGH so that Kieran could place his get well card for our country's first prime minister, Lee Kuan Yew.
Our eldest was deeply concerned when he learnt of LKY's deteriorating health and he decided to do something about it.
On his card, Kieran wrote 1965-1990 -- the time period that LKY served as prime minister. "Where did you learn this from?" Hubby D asked. "From the Chronicles of Singapore!" said Kieran.
Ah, his favourite book.
While Kieran's peers are likely to be found in the children's section of the public libraries, he often makes a beeline for the Singapore section where he would happily sit engrossed over the tales of our country.
"I hope LKY gets better soon so he can celebrate SG50," said a concerned Kieran.
In his card, he included his brother's name as well as Singapore's most famous icon -- Singapore Airlines.
