Chilling out in June

June is vacation time for the electric ducks. With two boisterous boys and attractive air fares on offer, it seemed like a good time to travel to the Sunshine Coast in Australia. We were lucky to escape the floods that affected Brisbane over the weekend. Arriving late on Sunday, we woke up to a cloudy and chilly Brisbane morning after a night spent sleeping high up in the sky (on the 73rd floor to be precise). We decided to take a ferry ride around Brisbane before driving out to the Gold Coast. It turned out to be the right decision as sunny skies and a beautiful vacation home greeted us when we arrived.
