At Stanford, you don't need to go far to get some exercise. The campus is sprawling (after all, this used to be farmland) and it's common to see students jogging all the time. Football is big here too especially when it comes to the game between Stanford and arch rival Berkeley. This week, the fountains at Stanford were awash in pink (resembling bloodbath) due to an upcoming match.
The family decided to do a little hike at the Dish on a cold but sunny afternoon. This place is aptly nicknamed the Dish because when you get all the way to the top, you can see the satellite dishes surrounding Stanford. Due to a wildlife alert, we didn't venture too far this time but as you can see, that didn't stop our little boy from having a stomping good time!
