Thanksgiving is traditionally a holiday for celebrating a bountiful harvest in the US but nowadays it is really a time for families to gather around and have a meal together. Something like the Chinese version of reunion dinner. We were lucky to have our in laws arrive on this special day and celebrate the occasion with family and friends.
On the menu was baked rosemary chicken, broccoli-cheese casserole and penne pasta in marinara sauce. We also had a delicious oreo ice cream dessert thanks to our friend Cindy. It was certainly a meaningful Thanksgiving!
