We spent our last weekend in the US doing what we love best -- eating and catching up with friends. Another trip to San Francisco was definitely on our must-do list and the family trooped down to Chinatown on Saturday for some delicious and authentic hor fun at this little hole of a restaurant at 941 Stockton Street that we had stumbled upon on a previous trip to buy American ginseng. We also could not resist taking away some delectable roast duck and roast pork as well as savoury egg tarts from the famous Golden Gate bakery. My father-in-law was especially pleased with the roast duck, which only cost USD6 for half a duck! "Very cheap!" he kept saying.Sunday saw us driving over to Fremont to visit a sweet couple (Stephen and Sufen) who had kindly rented us their Honda Civic last November so that we didn't need to go through the hassle of having to buy a car. Thanks to the both of them, we were able to enjoy many adventures and accumulated wonderful memories from our numerous drives!
